Rick sorry for being ambigous. But actually there are no messages except from the app which is to the effect that there is initializing problems. Though the form will work normally but the TreeView area will show as a blank white area.

This same installation if installed on a machine having having VS6 or another having VS.net wont have any problem and the same form, same app, same build with the treeview will work without a glitch. The exact error messages I don't have handy, but they were less clear promise. I use CodeBook as a framework. I have tried installation from my W2KPro machine to a W98 (failed as stated above), another W2K with VS.net (successful), XP machine no VS (failed as above).

Hope this will shed more light. In the mean time I will try to gather the exact messages.

>If you cannot successfully register the control manually using REGSVR32 then an installer is not going to be able to register it either. Can you be more specific than just "no luck"? What is the error message when you try to register it by hand using REGSVR32 on the Win98 machine?

Can you successfully register the control from the command line on the target machine using RegSvr32? If not, see the 'Installation Notes' section of the bbListView help file - maybe a required file is missing on the target machine.

>>>If you're deploying a VFP 6 app you can redistribute MSCOMCTL.OCX, which contains the treeview control. In your Inno Setup script, install it as follows:
