I understand that having CDX-tags improves performance of SQL statments in a VFP App. My question is does it also improve performance in the following case: A IIS web site having asp pages with SQL statments pointed at DBF/FPT files sitting in a system DSN 'Free Table Directory' with 'Fetch in Background' off. If the answer is yes, should the tags be on the fields that are used in JOINS, WHERE clauses, ORDER BY, or what???
TIA for any responses to the specific question or to the set up in general.
