I agree...my tongue was in cheek. ;)

It wouldn't do you a whole lot of good if you couldn't write to your removeable drive (and there are other ways to span/split large amounts of data onto CD's).

I've seen so many Microsoft Networks installed where the installer did the 'install and leave process' because it worked (everyone had access to everything) and he/she didn't know enough about security to lock it down effectively. Since unlike Novell, it is 'open' by default (prior to Windows Server 2003) that could be done. Thank goodness that won't be true anylonger! Now I have a bad feeling that Server 2003 installers will do basically the same thing: if they do not understand security sufficiently they will install, open everything up, and walk away...
