>The version on the machine which displays the treeview and which does not display the treeview is both same for mscomctl.ocx (6.1.83.41 on W2K and 6.01.8341 on W98)

Have you tried unregistering and re-registering it on the machine(s) on which it does not work? If there is a registration problem, this may correct it.

>Just an idea. How about Imagelist which is required for my TreeView (MSComctlLib.TreeCtrl.2), though even it has a MSComctlLib.ImageListCtrl.2 in OleClass. Does Imagelist require some other OCX?

As far as I know neither control has any external dependencies other than the usual system DLLs.

Also I'd check the version of the treeview control in your VFP form(s). Look at the OleClass property and make sure it says MSComctlLib.TreeCtrl.2, or at least that it has a '.2' version. If it says '.1' it's the older treeview control from comctl32.ocx, in which case you would need to distribute that file as well.
