You could try ON SHUTDOWN CLEAR EVENTS

>I have an application that I have running in the background. It is just a form with a timer on it that checks for the existence of a flag file with no visible form or taskbar display. If it does find it is spawns off another executable to perform a process.

>The problem I have is when the user goes to shutdown they receive a "Cannot quit Visual Foxpro" window. A look at the task manager shows that the executable is still running although there is no visual display. Is there any way to just shut this background process down when the user shuts down Windows.
