Hi Rock,

Yes, there were changes made to VS.NET 2003. Some of the changes made to VS.NET 2003 (ie, supporting v1 and v2) require the compiler to edit this file. MS took the easy route and decided to rebuild the file. So, what it does is remove the old file, copy the App.config file if it exists from the project root and add the info it needs to add. So, the solution to your problem is just to use the App.config file (copy your MyApp.exe.config file to the root and call it APP.CONFIG).
