I have a little problem whereby double quotes in a TAB delimeted text file are being treated as field delimiters (i.e. a " causes subsequent fields to be displaced)

Why is this???
Can I stop this behaviour???

Surely one of the points about tab delimited files is that what is between the tabs is one field.
