Hi,

I've been using the Web.UI.WebControls TreeView for a while - basic job, just cobbled together using the VS.NET designer.

Now I need to add a lot of client-side script to one of these and realize that I've no idea how to go about it (I don't mean how to write the code, but rather how to incorporate it into the HTML at 'design' time in VS.NET). I'm not even sure it's possible - the treeview adds it's own hooks to the Treeview.htc file when it's built and doesn't appear to appreciate it if I mess with it's attributes in the HTML window.

I've grabbed the HTML as it appears on the client and used that to play around with the object model so I know I can achieve the results I want.

I can (probably) hack the Treeview.htc file to do what I need but it doesn't feel right....

I found plenty of references on line to the *ability* to implement client-side code for a TreeView - but not a single concrete example. How do I go about this ? Thx,

Viv
