I am looking for some suggestions and/or recommendations for the following scenerio.
We have developed for a customer a large database system that we are about to migrate from VFP local tables to SQL.
The customer also maintains a large Access database that contains information that our application uses, so there is currently duplication. All the data management of this Access database is done directly into the tables; there are no forms, just some queries for reports.
What has been requested is that the Access database will also be migrated to SQL and then we can "share" data.
The problem is that the customer wants to still maintain the data like they would in Access, i.e. keying directly into the table and I am not certain what a good recommendation is?
If anyone can give me some suggestions, that would be very much appreciated.
TIA,
-Mark
