First execute this command.

drop clipper
goto VFP

You will find helpful the Norton Clipper guides mentioned by another. Best I remember memory was a major problem, we used Blinker to link and did lots of tricks with the linking options, etc. I also remember file/index corruption problems, seemed to have been linked to opening and closing files repeatedly.

Keep your code clean, declare your vars, use them wisely, avoid macros & use codeblocks instead.
