Is there any virus checking on this file? Is that directory somehow cursed? Can you make a new directory and still have the same problems - reason I ask is that you can compress directories in windows server.

We have tried to copy the file, delete the old, rename the new to the old filename, but it still happens. We can copy the file to the same folder (under a different name) and everything is fine. We do not want to have to change the filename and change all of our programs/processes. It is like the server has cursed this filename.
