Jacci,

Jacci,

Although many of the high-level principles have been carried over from MM VFP, it's far more than a simple port. Where it makes sense to have similarities to our MM VFP product we've kept the same architecture. Where it doesn't make sense in a .NET world, we've created a completely new implementation.

>It is a very smart move on his part.

Would that it were my idea <s>. We actually had a number of developers asking us to do this so they could get their hands on it sooner than later.

>We aren't doing any desktop development. I understand that the web form section still needs work.

Actually, we've made great progress recently. You can use MM .NET right now to create fully functional Web Forms and Web Service applications.
