>How did you use Access as your Front End?
You must create Access 2000/Access XP data project (file with extension .adp). This file will contain only front-end components (forms, reports, etc) without data. Data will be stored in SQL Server back-end database.
>Did you create updateable queries?
AFAIK there are no functional differences between variants to store data in Access or SQL Server. What you can do with data in Access, the same you can do also with data in SQL Server.

If you like(and your client give you permit) you can outsource convertion form Access to Access/SQLServer to us. I suppose that we can convert faster project and test new solution.
