Best way to know if last digit of 123.120 is 0 or not

I have a report where the number could be 999.99 or 999.999 Basically, the user wants to see 123.12 (not 123.120) if the 3rd digit is 0. Is there an easiest way than IIF(SUBSTR(STR(mynumber,3),7) ? thanks Eric
