The latest OLE DB provider comes with VFP8. For the release date for the updated version see Re: Latest OleDB driver Message #791782. You can create VFP linked server with VFP ODBC driver or VFP OLE DB provider. The first one is faster than second one but it has problems with writing to memo fields.
