The indexes only help if they exactly match the locate criteria, so you would nee indexes on year(dOrddate) and on iordernr to get Rushmore to optimize the locate command. The SELECT command is processed by a query optimizer in addition to Rushmore so it may reduce traffic without additional indexes.
