yes... maybe an option..

but i was thinking about something like this:
once the exe was launched, update the tree with "Connected" , and have some "trace" of the exe in Windows... if the exes closes (because oracle refussed the connection or beacause the user finished the app) windows shuts down the application.. can i catch that event ?

when i launch the exe, I get the exe ID in windows ... when it is closed there must be something to catch, isn't it?
there I would update the tree text again to "Disconnected"

am I dreaming???? :)
