My reference was to your error - "Invalid Class String" and the only place I found that was the help for CREATEOBJECTEX(). Is that how you are instancing this thing? Guess I need more on how you are using this to help any further. My post with the hacked PINGY stuff just showed how to get the control installed properly without the licensing error. In no way do I know if your code works :-) I used a little test app of my own to check if the Winsock installed and works properly. It did and does.
