Brian, I do believe you may be just the fellow I'm looking for.

I've heard the Winsock control is buggy, and so I'm interested in duplicating its functionality with API calls in VFP8.

Is this going to be difficult, do you think?



>That API is generally used for sockets you actually create, I don't know if the ActiveX wrapper would support it. My knowledge of using sockets is all rooted in C++. I have used the ActiveX control in Visual Basic and never saw slow data tranmissions with it.
