i have allready tried the sample on wiki site. this sample is used to send text to another computer. for my application i want to use winsock to connect a computer to another computer and open a database and use vues to update tables.

with the LAN connection i use now i just write : open data \\myserver\myapp\data1.dbc

how can i do the same operation with winsock with server IP :192.168.0.1 port 1000 ?
