The CodeBook framework was designed to use local views lv_TableA to develop for .dbf files. Then you could upsize by creating remote views rv_TableA.

CodeBook uses the lv_ or rv_ aliased as v_, that way the code did not need a lot of changes.

Might get a copy of CodeBook and read it over some.
