>I have a report that is based off a SPT query from SQL Server data. It has two groupings. This first is on RoomID, and there are no fields in that band. The second grouping is on MeetingID. It has 10 different fields that are on this band. The data is based off two tables, meetings and meetingDetails. The comment field is located in the Meetings (Parent Table). The procedures are located in the MeetingDetails (child table). If I have a case that has more than one child record, the procedures are listed one after the other in this band (that part works great). The comments though, which are part of the Parent table, keep repeating. The expression value is allt(caseCmts) this is a memo field. It is set to stretch with overflow, Remove Line if blank and Print Only has gnPrintCmts=1. If I have a value in the Print Only, the Print repeated values Optiongroup is disabled. This field keeps printing for each record. So if I have two records for the MeetingID, I get two procedures
> listed and two comments. The comments I only want to print one time. If I remove the Print When expression, I can change the Print Repeated Value to No and it works. But I need Print When expression because sometimes they want to print with comments and sometimes without.

You would need to create a report variable that counts records, that resets to 0 on grouping 1. In the print when, you'll set it to
gnPrintCmts=1 AND lnCountGroup2 <= 1
I'm not remembering 100% on the <= or = or <, you might have to change those.
