I'm not familiar enough with Codebook to know how easy it would be in introduce a container of buttons into the mix.

You could instance the toolbar again, set it's position based on your form and then add code to your Form.Moved() and Form.Resize() methods to keep the toolbar position in synch, but that sort of code would be a bit of a PITA.
