Just thought I would relay this to any who may be interested. I have read several articles stating that ActiveX controls will not work with vfp on wine on linux. This may be true for some controls, but the mscomm control works just fine, All I had to do was drop the ocx in the program directory and I'm reading barcode wands through the serial port.
