Could you paste the XML file so we can take a look at it?

If the Web Service is responding from a VFP Web Service and that the schema is included with CURSORTOXML(), then the VFP client should be able to extract it properly with XMLTOCURSOR(). However, if that schema was constructed by hand, it is possible VFP can't handle it entirely.
