Most countries of the World are listed. In some, the human rights abuses are ocasional (for example, police brutality, with a corresponding lack of follow-up), in some, more systematic.
For the U.S., they mention the treatment of the prisoners in Guantanamo, and executions, among others. A.I. is strictly against executions, but they specifically mention that in some of the executions in the U.S., the people executed were under 18 years when they commited their crimes (A.I. also has a section on "good news"; in this case, the good news is that several states are beginning to legislate against this particular situation).
Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
