Maybe you should consider not using a general field at all...simply store the name of the .JPG file in a field in the table. Check out JPGs in a VFP 6 Report FAQ #7862

>Ok, Making backward progress. (Whatever that means) I went onto my test machine. Deleted the association of JPG files with MS Photoed. Ran the app report. Got the problem. Icon and name of jpg file where the image should be. Went back 2-clicked on jpg file, re-established link with Photoed. Report still doesn't work.
