I do not know what SGBD is, but I have both MSDE [SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine] and Personal Oracle 8i running on a Win2000 Pro laptop with ZERO problems. I would suspect in the production environment where a real server is used and both databases are being utilized at the same time that performance would suffer since both databases would be competing for the same server resources.
