UPDATE It is worth reminding, though, that the usage here is NOT like it is in the messages area in that there is not necessarily a reply/response sequence. Just because you might add a comment after mine shouldn't, I don't think, prevent me from amending my comment.

Also, there have been cases when I deleted a comment after the originator amended an item as I suggested. Now I cannot do that.
