Personally, I have no problems with people gambling as long as they are not gambling with my money :o) However, having just returned from an insurance conference that was ON the Disney World resort I would welcome Las Vegas as a location for any conference. While i appreciated being on Disney World, the cost of the hotel (even with the conference discount), airport transportation, and the food (all over the area let alone on the resort) was simply outrageous and the most expensive conference i have ever attended. Las Vegas has very inexpensive meals and entertainment. There is so much more to do than gamble.

I forgot to mention that Microsoft hosted a great party at the end of the conference at Pleasure Island though!
