I have never worked with a Paradox database, but I can think of 2 options:

1. In VFP, create a VFP database and connect to the Paradox database with an ODBC driver. You can then create remote views of the Paradox tables and use these remote views to convert the Paradox database.

2. If you have SQL Server, you can use DTS (Data Transformation Services?) to convert the data from Paradox to SQL Server. I think you can also use DTS to convert from Paradox to VFP directly, but I have not tried that.
