Yup, I have not ran into the problem you all have, but from my experimental uses of the VFP 8 DE (and also the CA) I am not impressed. They MIGHT be usefull if you subclass them and add the methods required to make them work, but why? I Have CodeMine, CodeBook, Web Connect, might code my own DE CA, etc..

Other than that VFP 8 is very nice, I skipped 7 and kinda glad I did.
