BTW, polling for such an option would get you notices every minute or close to that during business days. So, it'd be useless to have such an option.

As for other notifications, the Web Service supports a GetReply() method which can be used to let you know if you got new replies. But, that is already supported by email. You just enable to option in your profile to have all replies to you forwarded to your email.
