UPDATE: You may ignore this...

I was successful in achieving a very close approximation of what it's like in Win2K by clicking on one of the non-MS names that was out of order. Strangely, Acrobat Reader 5.0 and Installshield for Microsoft Visual C++6 remain out of order!?!?

The names in the programs list (Start-->Programs) is all out of order.

I've tried rt-clicking on an entry and then clicking "Sort by name" because this used to sort the whole list in name order.
Now this sometimes comes close and sometimes not.
The major offenders seem to be things starting with "Microsoft".

I notice that when I do the above on Win2K Pro I get essentially 2 sorted lists, the top correctly sorted for entries that have a rt-pointing arrow indicating more related programs and the bottom portion correctly sorted for non-arrowed programs.
This is NOT the case for XP-Home.

Thanks
