We (that's the Royal "we") don't have to get into a big discussion about the subject, although, personally, I am pleased (and somewhat surprised) by most of the responses. If we can back up a couple of steps and look at the reason for my initial question; the gist of which was "How can 'FoxPro Advisor' increase attendance at future DevCons?", to me, the key factor that may have slipped through the cracks was something that Alex Feldstein said. He mentioned (implied?) that he would be inclined to attend a Las Vegas conference because his wife would enjoy going and have something to do while he was attending the conference. Along the lines of "going to a conference to learn", I wholeheartedly agree with that philosophy, BUT for those attendees so inclined, there is a bit of an incentive to stay in Las Vegas a few more days for a "real" vacation (something that probably hasn't been discussed with respect to Milwaukee, Kansas City, and other environs). Among other things, this could certainly defray travel expenses for a second "vacation only" trip at some other time.
