Bob,

I cant see why I cant get the connection handle from an OBJECT and use it.
At the load event of the form I get the oODBC.nID handle, and I can see it in the screen.
? oODBC.nID or with Wait Window

I also created an Public variable called nID that gets the value from oODBC.nID and I see it
in the LOAD event of the form.

This puts me crazy ! just want to understand whats wrong and how to make the Handle valid,
so that the CA's of my app forms work.
