I replicated your view using both SQL server and foxpro as a database backend and your view definition worked fine. All the fields came back renamed.

Sounds daft, but are you sure you're displaying the structure of the view and not it's associated table?

Make sure you're using display structure and not a browse window as browse windows can have captions that differ from the actual field name on the table itself. This has caught me out a couple of times!

If none of the above help, can you give me some more info?

Where is data coming from a foxpro table or another data source?
