Dan,

>duhlman@amag.com until June 30. I'll send you my home email. No job yet but I had my second interview at R&H. Went pretty well. Great benefits.

Sweet...I'll keep your home email on file once I get it...

>That was part of my program that opens the project. It also made a backup or recovered from a backup if a crash. Ever unable to open a project after a crash?

With Windows XP? What crashes? *smile* Honestly, I haven't had that happen in a while, and our projects here are stable enough that I could just get the project from VSS again...

>Ahh, those were good times. The "Foxpro vs. SQL Server" thread was pretty good though. Comparing FoxPro to SQL Server? Please.

Yeah, but not as good as the SQL Passthrough vs. Remote Views stuff... *smile*

>Show them BillyPacker() and you make god status ;) You do have the source for the stuff you wrote don't you?

Have you found VFP 7.0 and 8.0 requiring the packing as much? I haven't seen much bloat, but I mainly am only working on one VCX right now...

I have a lot of stuff I wrote, but forgot some things like my startup PRG and some of the throwaway programs (that I wish I had now). I also never wanted to take anyone else's code, so I don't have Pauly's optimizer stuff or BillyPacker. But CodeSpy still works well...

Thanks again for your help! If I ever get anything cooking with Project Hooks (not sure how that would make the OpenFast work any easier anyway) I'll let you know!

Later,
JoeK
