Also, I 'think' that for a form, you have to set the form font property to a Japanese font (not sure). If you open the table, browse, then go to the 'Table' menu, select 'Font', and change the font used to display the table to a Japanese font, does it display correctly? I'm not sure if a codepage needs to be set for Japanese or not as I have not tried it myself.
