In this particular case the grid is bound to a datasource with buffering set to 5

I think I've got an idea about what's happening.
the last row in the grid that's been modified doesn't lose focus
(because I issue the tableupdate(.t.,.f.) command from a toolbar)
Therefore it's modified value isn't written to the buffer.

Is my assumption a correct one, and can anyone tell me how to fix this.
I use the updaterows() function used by vfp when creating a form through the form wizzard.
