Now that I have a PARAMETER statement to begin my main.prg and form, the "_SCREEN.application.visible=.f." statement follows the PARAMETER statement. I have a config.fpw that has the line "SCREEN=OFF". When I run the executable, the main white Fox screen flashes for an instant. I know this has to do with the placement of the PARAMETER statement. Is there a better way to go about doing what I what to do here? Thank you.

If you've "SCREEN=OFF" in the config.fpw you souldn't need "_SCREEN.visible=.f.". It sound like your application doesn't use the config.fpw with "SCREEN=OFF". Where did you put the config.fpw? What parameters do you have in the shortcut's command line that calls your program?
