My client has been using Windows 98 workstations (w/DCOM98 installed) to use an app that accesses a DCOM component on the server for a year with no problems.
Recently, they have started replacing the old computers with new ones running Windows 2000. When they use the new workstations, they are getting "Access is denied" errors when accessing the component, but they can still access it using a 95/98 machine. I had a user login to both Windows 2000 Pro and Windows 98 and the errors only occur when using Windows 2000 Pro.

If anyone has an idea of what might be causing this or where to start looking, I would appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.
