I am creating a script for Wise InstallBuilder for VFP 8 runtime files.

The Wiki web page listing the run-time files indicates that it is recommended NOT to place the .DLLs to WinSysDir on Win2K and WinXP.

But what about Win 95/98? Is it ok to place the files to \Windows\System directory on these OSs?

One other question, if anybody is familiar with Wise installer.
To install a file to sys directory the syntax is:
Destination=%SYS32%

What if you want to install the files to some other directory (e.g. "Common files\Microsoft Shared\VFP")? what would be the variable in place of SYS32?

TIA.
