Thanks. I used 'Add/Remove Programs' to uninstall VS.net 2002 with no problems. VS.net 2003 is working without problem so far. Regarding the upgrade licensing issue, perhaps M$ will give me a gold star for not keeping the earlier version on my laptop after installing the latest version, for which I paid them the upgrade price of only $29.95 (a great deal!).
