Keep VFP 6.0 SP3 and SP5 on same machine?

I think you're making a mistake. The difference between VFP6 SP3 and SP5 is not like the difference between VFP7 and VFP6. You're only talking about service patches here. There should be no need to worry about keeping sp3 for maintenance of existing clients. You don't have database and table headers being changed etc.

I'd say simply update to sp5 and forget about going back to sp3 for anything.

I want to see if SP5 might by some miracle fix the problem. But if I upgrade my development machine to SP5, I still need to get back to SP3 to support my other clients. Would I install Sp5, then if it is not fixed, uninstall VFP and reinstall VFP and then SP3? Is there a way to have to VFP installed on the same machine without having 2 partitions?
