We have an .ASP application which reads data from one of our legacy VFP applications via ODBC. It works fine in testing if we locate the data in a sub-folder of our website on the Web Server [Named CVNET, Win2000].

In practice, we'd like to set it up to read the data from a different server on the clients' network. They have one box, which is a Web Server, and another which is a File Server [Named CVFILE, WinNT], which houses the data we want to read. We tried to set it up, but keep getting errors reading the data from CVFILE.

Some people have suggested that we set up an IUSR_CVNET account on the CVFILE server. We tried that. It didn't help. Others have suggested IWAM_CVNET may need to be set up. We're stuck.

Any experts out there with actual solutions?
