I need to keep track of changes made to different fields in a data entry form using VFP 8 and SQL2000.

Basically I need to know who did it, when, what field, and from what value to what value.

I'm doing this thru some code but I'm thinking of doing this thru SQL Triggers but can't think of way to get the user that modified it inside the trigger.

Any suggestions for this or your method of keeping an audit trail.
