I'm not scared about kids making applications.
Me neither, i am a kid myself :-)

My greatest problem has been VFP recognition by some of those businesses.
In my case, i am generally the only deciding voice as for my clients developement tools and IT strategies, so you should see them when they go to a meeting and they're asked what tool was used for their apps: i think i should tape them and send it to Ken... ( although it's generally in Hebrew, i doubt he could have good use for it :-) )

I just hope that with more good news and better marketing that problem will disappear and that we don't have to convince those hiring us that VFP is really something good.
This is right, specially for new clients. It's true that i have sometimes a hard time convincing a possible new client, when they have IT specialists going "Visual Fox what? We thought this tool is 10 years dead...". The worst is i cannot send them to Microsoft Israel: i think the latter does not even know of the existence of VFP in their arsenal. They also do not mention it even once in their site ( even not a link to the english VFP site ).
