>Hi all,
>I was wondering if anyone has seen this error before. This is from a VFP linked server into MS SQL Server 2000 SP3a using the latest (I think) VFP OleDb provider (file version 8.0.00.2521). Happens when I try to access a table containing a numeric field with decimal from either Access 2000 or Enterprise Manager.

>'arhgba' is a free table. Column 'rate_disc' is an N(7,3). Looks as if the translation from VFP to SQL numeric isn't correct (SQL doesn't count the decimal point)?

Jon,
I had problems with N type too. Would you try b(3).
