How I can define DNS file with UserID and Password, for use with MSDE in a Windows 98, then SQL Security, no Windows Security.

I read this article :

"if you pass a user ID and/or password when configuring a SQL Server connection, the SQLConfigDataSource function will fail every time"

Then, how could I do that?
